This intricate and regal dance can only be preformed by one crane species as they are known for their dancing and are said to have the most beautiful dances of all the 15 crane species. This is the amazing and elegant Red-Crowned Crane, Grus japonensis.  At 5 feet tall and weighing any where from 17-22 pounds this is a very large bird and it is an awesome sight to witness this mated pair engage in their dance.
